I heard the Senators are in on Luongo. That would suck tremendous amounts of butt if they got him. Hoping for a win, my wife will be there live, I'll be sleeping.

it has already been said that lindback will get the start tonight. and that bishop will be in net for the sens. i believe we played against him last year and lost in OTT 2 or 3-1 i think im not sure tho. we never play well there tho. we need to capitalize on them being on a back to back. and we cant let karlsson make those long passes that the isles beat us with. our D have to be aware. thats one way to beat our trap game is that pass. if they get it through they are gone. if you dont have a twitter you should get on there to keep up with the latest on the bolts news.

definitely not true. sens already have a log jam of talented goalies (anderson, lehner, bishop). there is ZERO chance that they're even remotely interested in luongo.

should be a good game tonight. when these 2 teams get together always makes for some exciting hockey.

liked the write up, it's nice to see some fans/media/bloggers from other teams finally starting to appreciate just how good this ottawa team is.

i think what gets overlooked a lot, and yost mentions it in his blogs often, is the ability of ottawa's 3rd and 4th lines. they're gritty and tough as nails, but they also have a buttload of offensive ability. i believe our 3rd line combined for like 130 pts last year or something like that.

i'm interested to see lindback play for you guys. heard a lot about him while he was in nashville, but never actually saw him play.

should be a good game.

We always have a tough time with the Sens, and Neil always gets under our skin. It will be interesting to see if anything plays out there now that we have more toughness. The fact that Ottawa played last night should be a big advantage.

Loved the blog, Micheal.

I expect this game to be a real treat to watch, two teams full of puck possession wizards, top end finishers, and good skaters.

This Cory Conacher is something else, how lucky would TB be to get a St Louis replacement as St Louis' career comes to a close? One of the greatest players of all time, truly. If he was 6' tall and 210lbs, we'd be talking about a guy who would have dominated the league for years.

I think the Sens pull this one out, on the strength of goaltending and a speed advantage over your defence, especially our third and fourth lines.

I am excited to watch Stamkos play. He is always full value for the money...

Hoping a Sens win and Turris to get another multi point night...

Last night just before I sat in my ass down in my lay-z-boy to watch the Sens game,
I thought to myself.. This is a HUGE Week for the Sens! I mean they play 5 games in the next 7 days folks! There is 10 points up for grabs here. This week could make or break our post season if it was to swing to far one way.
It looks like we are on the right path tho, as we beat Florida last night....again
Should be a good game tonight.
Is Pauly Mac going with Andy or Bishop tonight..?

GO SENS GO !!!

he has dominated the league being 5'9 and 180.
guy has put up a point per game or more like every year since he moved to tampa. also really nice guy in person. and a great family. his kids play at our local rink so i see him all the time.

Yeah, that's what I mean though, if he'd been a big body, we'd be talking about him on a Mario Lemieux level - as it is, he was the best player of the 2000's.

I met him once as a kid here in Saint John, New Brunswick when he was in the AHL for the Saint John flames, really great guy then too. Calgary's loss was TB's gain!

So many good roster pieces and then one of the top-3 coaches in the NHL (in my opinion). Paul MacLean is the perfect coach for that team; I loved the guy in Detroit and I love him in Ottawa. He's such a bright hockey mind and his style just seems to mesh with a lot of the Sens players. Lots to like in Ottawa. Have to respect that when writing a preview.

I am very conflicted about the Jets Pens game. I HATE Pittsburgh, but I don't want our division rivals to get ANY points.

I know you like Malone, but he's got to be taken off that first line. They haven't done anything together.

Can we go back to the lockout? What a tragedy this team is. I've been watching former Lightning goalies and are problem is Frantz Jean. He ruins good goalies. Forget this I'm going to bed. Maybe I'll wake up and become a fan of a real team like the Islanders

You're a glass half full guy aren't you? WTF is our problem with the first period? Think they'll pull Lindback?

Second period? No idea, but it's pitiful. PP coaching needs to be better too.

When Hall, Thompson and Crombeen spend more time in the offensive zone than the Stammer, Malone and Marty....

You know we have a serious problem.
